A potter skillfully shapes clay on a spinning wheel, demonstrating the art of pottery with precision and creativity.

Perfect for beginners and those with some pottery experience, this class offers an immersive and hands-on journey into the world of clay. Whether you’re new to pottery or want to fine-tune your skills, this series is designed to accommodate all levels. Over the course of four weeks, students will learn basic handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques and more involved ones including trimming, surface design, and glazing.

The 4-week series is an excellent introduction to the full clay process, giving you ample time to create functional and decorative pieces like bowls, mugs, sculptures, and more. Students benefit from personalized instruction and the flexibility to explore their own creative interests while building foundational pottery skills. While condensed compared to our 6-week series, this class still offers a comprehensive pottery experience in a shorter timeframe and at a lower cost.

Come ready to create, experiment, and take home your very own handmade pottery!
