All Skill Levels Welcome 🏺🎨

Designed for all skill levels, this class offers a fun and hands-on introduction to handbuilding pottery techniques. 👩‍🎨

Students will focus on the basics of handbuilding, which can be used to create functional items like mugs ☕, sculptures 🗿, planters 🌱, and other organic and imaginative forms. You will learn to shape, coil, pinch, and slab clay to bring your creative ideas to life. Whether you're interested in making mugs, bowls 🍜, or unique sculptures, the class will help you master the techniques that bring your pieces into form.

You’ll have the opportunity to make a variety of pieces, from functional items like cups ☕, mugs 🍶, and planters 🌿 to decorative sculptures, luminaries 🕯, and more. The class also touches on surface texture, tool use 🔧, and altering forms to add unique character to your creations.

Important: This class is focused exclusively on handbuilding. There will be no wheel throwing involved. Come ready to get your hands dirty and experiment with different handbuilding techniques to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces! 👐
