Intro to Clay Pottery (Wheel) - [April 18th]

This beginner-friendly class offers the perfect introduction to the potter’s wheel! Whether you’re completely new to pottery or have tried it before and want a quick refresher, this two-hour session is designed for all skill levels.


In this class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including how the wheel works,

centering clay, opening and shaping a pot, and pulling height. You’ll also explore techniques for surface design and altering the rim or base to create unique shapes. Each student will work on their own wheel and have the opportunity to create up to three small, functional pieces such as bowls, mugs, or other round forms.



*Pottery will be ready for pick up 4-5 weeks after the workshop.

Ages Adult (18+)


Price $100 class fee + $15 materials fee (includes 3 pounds of clay, maximum of 3 art pieces for completion, glazes, firings, use of studio tools)
