Are you looking for an exciting and enriching summer experience for your young artist? Look no further! Pikes Peak Artist Collective (PPAC) is thrilled to offer engaging and hands-on summer art camps for children aged 6-13. Our camps provide a unique opportunity for kids to explore various artistic media, learn new techniques, and immerse themselves in the world of creativity.
Camp Details:
Age Groups: Campers will be split into two age groups:
6-9 years old: Morning session
10-13 years old: Afternoon session
Format: Half-day camps running throughout the month of June
Activities:
Clay Pottery: Let your child’s hands get dirty as they mold and shape clay into beautiful pottery pieces. From pinch pots to coil creations, they’ll experience the tactile joy of working with clay.
Painting: Brushes, canvases, and a rainbow of colors await! Our young artists will experiment with acrylics, watercolors, and even try their hand at abstract expressionism.
Drawing: Pencils, charcoal, and sketchbooks at the ready! Kids will learn fundamental drawing techniques, from still life to imaginative creations.
Exclusive Art Experiences:
But that’s not all! Our campers will also have the opportunity to explore the art of different cultures and masters. They’ll visit exclusive art galleries in Old Colorado City, gaining inspiration and insights from established artists. It’s a chance for them to broaden their artistic horizons and discover new perspectives.
