Ever wanted to try your hand at pottery? Join us for our monthly wheel throwing mini course, part of Old Colorado City’s First Friday art walk! No experience is necessary, and you don’t need to bring anything with you—just your enthusiasm.

This engaging workshop starts with a brief demonstration from your instructor, showcasing the basics of wheel throwing. After that, you’ll have 30 minutes to explore the clay, shaping and molding your creations while expressing your unique artistic vision.

At the end of the session, you can select a piece that resonates with you, and we’ll take care of professional glazing and firing to bring your work to life. This special 45-minute class is perfect for families and friends looking to enjoy a creative evening together.

Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup in 4-6 weeks, serving as a lasting reminder of your journey into the world of ceramics. Join us and unleash your creativity!

What's this First Friday's theme and/or event?

Each First Friday features different events at the studio, happening while you're in class. Don't worry - there will be time for you to join in the activities either before or after your session! The event for this week's session is still currently in the works. Check back soon for updates!
